Proof of identity

Identity documents include the following:

1. Identity card (for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan);

2. Passport or certificate permitting temporary or permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan (for foreigners);

3. Identity card issued to individuals residing in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan on a permanent basis but not having the citizenship of the country, permit issued to stateless persons for temporary or permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

4. Military ticket (for persons who are on active military service);

5. Certificates issued to servicemen, enlisted for service on a voluntary basis, military officials and female servicemen (with the exception of servicemen who are on active military service of cadets), in a certain form, depending on the type of active military service.

6. Military ticket issued to citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic admitted for active military service of cadets;

7. Refugee certificate (for persons with refugee status).
