"Premium Bank Miles" cards with new design and Contactless Payment Technology

"Premium Bank" has started issuing Visa and MasterCard Miles cards in new design. In the new cards, Contactless Payment Technology has been applied.

With the new VISA payWave and MasterCard Contactless cards, "Premium Bank" made Contactless Payment Technology available to everyone. From now on, any customer visiting any branch of "Premium Bank" or on the Bank`s official website (http://www.premiumbank.az/az/for-life/plastic-cards/miles-kartlar/) can order a contactless payment card. Contactless Payment reflects the technology of remote payment, without inserting a plastic card into a POS-terminal. No PIN-code entry is required when making small payments up to 50 AZN through these cards since payment is possible by holding the plastic card near a terminal without presenting it to a service point staff. This not only increases the security of cashless payments but also saves customers more time. For large payments, PIN-code entry, i.e. the standard authorization is required.

Classic, Gold and Platinum Miles cards on the VISA payment system, Standard, Gold, Platinum, and Black Edition Miles cards on the MasterCard payment system are being fully transferred to the Contactless Payment Technology.

Be kindly reminded that the "Premium Bank Miles" card is a joint payment card that combines the benefits of a bank card and the privileges of the participant of the "Azal Miles" program. By paying daily purchases and services via Miles Card, the cardholder collects points in his/her balance. Points are accrued in any currency of the world at the time of payments (in AZN equivalent). Points are collected on flights of "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL) as well. The cardholder can use the collected miles to purchase a free flight ticket (Business and Economy Class) of AZAL or to upgrade the service class.
